Congratulations to the TBHS volleyball team, winners of the Aoraki Championship who went through the tournament unbeaten without dropping a set.
The Timaru Boys’ High School senior volleyballers were extremely dominant as they cruised to take the Aoraki title. Along the way they disposed of two Geraldine teams, Ashburton and Mount Hutt. The only thing that was going to trip the team up was complacency and although they lost concentration at times, none of the other teams really got close. Standouts for the team were Ofa Manuofetoa and James Watt. Members of the team were Ethan Grimmer, Joel Hill, Ofa Manuofetoa, Sione Mosa’ati, Lepani Nausu, Jaydon Phillips and James Watt.
