The library has a new website available at http://nz.accessit.online/TMR01/#!dashboard .
Students are able to log in to their accounts, using their network login details, and renew their current loans or browse and reserve other books that we have in the library. The website also links into the ebook collection that we have available and students can directly download books to their phone.
We have created lists of books that are suitable for NCEA Level 1 and 2 reading responses as well as suggestions for English scholarship reading, or those who are wanting to extend their own literary knowledge.
For those students who are interested in developing their research skills or who are looking to gain some experience of working with databases before university, the website also has direct access to databases provided by the National Library, making it easier for students to research for their assessments.
In the future, we aim to create reading lists for other subjects which bring together websites, articles and videos available online and which students will be able to access from home without having to struggle to find relevant and useful information.
