Timaru Boys entered three teams to compete in the ARA Year 10 Science Competition at Timaru Girls' High School on Thursday 23 November.
The team of George Mulder, Rylan Cummings and Lachie Lamb of 10AD were the overall winners with 44 points out of 75.
They earned top marks in two out of the three scenario questions and performed creditably in the practical chemistry.
The two 10MF teams of Mackenzie Annett, Jack Blakemore, Hamish Stayt, Reon Mitchell, Quinn Motley and William Rawlins had their ups and downs, finishing in the middle of the eleven teams on sixth equal place with 26 out of 75.
