The Year 13 Hospitality students have almost completed their Baking Block Assessment course at ARA.
During their time at ARA they have been perfecting their baking techniques to produce a wide variety of baked dishes, for example, sponges, scones, carrot muffins, chocolate and caramel slice and piping skills for cake decoration. All the students have greatly benefited from their time in the commercial kitchens at ARA. The students have developed a new appreciation of the chemistry involved in baking. The students have become more confident in their understanding and application of baking terminology. We wish them well for the final baking challenges in Week 10 to complete this module.
