Our Year 9 and 10 students annually participate in the Year 9 and 10 ICAS English Exam.
This exam covers five skill areas – literacy, reading, factual reading, textual devices, syntax and vocabulary. Several of our students gained Credit certificates, placing them in the top 25% of students who sat the exam in New Zealand, Australia and the Pacific. Four of our boys gained Distinction Certificates which places them in the top 10% of all participants – an outstanding achievement. Congratulations to Alec Whitticase, Ben Helliwell, Joshua Reynolds and Ben Deeley.
