Food Technology/Hospitality

Over the last couple of weeks, Year 10 Food Technology and the Senior Hospitality classes have had the expertise and industry knowledge from award winning chef Steve Le Corre from ARA.

These students have experienced a Master Class in food preparation, cooking techniques and presentation methods with a focus on Asian cuisine.

Our Senior Hospitality students have also focused on learning how to produce the various specialist fruit and vegetable knife cuts, for example, chiffonade and julienne to name a few, as well as how to use a stone and steel to maintain various knives.

These Master Classes have been extremely beneficial to the students in their development of Hospitality skills for future use.
