The Timaru Boys' Choir has been reinstated after having been in recess for a number of years.
Thank you to the TBHS Old Boys’ Association for their support of this venture and to Lucy Dillon, Musical Director at St Mary’s Church, who is assisting in leading the choir.
We currently have a group of twelve keen young men participating, a number that we hope to see grow in the coming years. Their first appearance was at the Waitaki Assembly, singing Drake's Drum alongside the team captains. At the moment they are working hard to learn a number of Queen songs ready to perform at the opening of the new Queen movie coming out in November. They will be singing Queen songs about 30min before each performance on the Saturday night.
