Our swimmers continue with their medalling successes!
Will and Alex Tudgey lined up with 323 others to swim 5km from Wainui to Akaroa at 8:30 on Saturday morning as part of the Banana Boat NZ Ocean Swim Series. This event doubled as part of the Swimming NZ Makos Zonal Secondary School Swimming Championships (there were also 2km and 750m races).
Will won a Bronze medal in the school competition (South Island) and placed 5th in the 15-19 age category (including swimmers from all around NZ).
Alex also won Bronze in the school competition and then Silver in the 12-14 age category.
