The Thomas House Hostel Parents’ AGM was held on 5 April and was attended by twelve parents. Office Bearers this year are:

Secretary: Annabelle Hampton
Treasurer: Ben Stock
Hostel Rep BOT: Kate Murdoch
Director of Boarding, Ross Smith gave a report on how the year is progressing and told us about the appointment of the new Catering Manager Justin Holman. The new Boardingware Leave system is up and running. Open Day was a success with good enquires regarding Boarding and the Hostel.
Paula Cross, the Residential Manager gave a report on how the new boys were settling in. There will be Year 9 Home visits in Term 2 as well as flu shots available to students who request them.
Colin Murdoch reported on the progress of the Hostel Redevelopment Project and talked about the fundraising ideas being explored. The Cattle scheme is running well and Brent Schmack reported that there is a good number of cattle out on farms at present.
The Hostel Parents dinner is to be held on Friday 1 July in the Hostel dining room.
