Thomas Kyle and Matthew Moore were crowned Junior and Senior Champion respectively at the annual TBHS swimming sports held in ideal conditions at the school pool on Thursday 13 February.
Kyle set new junior records in the 50 metre freestyle (27.0 seconds), as well as the 100 (59.80 seconds) and 200 (2 mins 10.6 seconds) freestyle events. He also established a new mark in the 50 metre breaststroke of 35.00 seconds.
Moore emerged from the shadows in recent years of Riley Taylor and Jack Sands to dominate across the Senior events. A number of his times were only fractionally behind the records established by both these young men.
To the delight of Deputy Rector Rod Sparrow, Tait were the winning house in 2020.
