On Friday 14 September, our annual School Ball was held in Hogben Hall and attended by invited Year 12 and 13 students.
This year's theme was ARCADE and many of the characters from the iconic arcade games of the '80s were featured. Tyler Sparks and his Year 13 Ball Committee worked very hard to produce colourful decorations that reflected the theme.
The evening commenced with some formal dancing and the Year 13s were able to show off the effort that they had put into their dancing lessons. A hit at suppertime was the chocolate fountain where ball-goers went through 7kg of chocolate as they dipped fruit and marshmallows.
We were very pleased by the respect shown for the event this year by all students who made an effort to have their behaviour reflect the formal nature of this school event. Thanks to all the staff who gave up their Friday evening to help supervise the Ball.
