Congratulations to our Timaru Boys' 1st XV Rugby team who, after a tremendous 15-8 win against Christchurch Boys' on Saturday, have taken a major step towards a semi-final spot in the Miles Toyota Championship.
We will be keeping an eye on this week's Saturday competition game when they face St Thomas of Canterbury College - 12pm, School Park.
With games yet to played against Marlborough Boys' and Nelson College, our boys will need to win two out of these three games to secure their spot in the top four. We wish them every success.

Timaru Boys' also gives a shout out to the many volunteers who contribute countless hours to ensuring the success of our Rugby Club across all grades - coaches, managers, parents, fundraisers....... without your support, it would be impossible to cater for the over 250 students who choose this winter sport.
Rugby teams across all grades are to be congratulated for their commitment to the sport and we commend you all for your dedication on these cold winter days.
