The South Island Tennis Championships were held in Timaru at the Trust Aoraki Centre from 1-3 March.
The Timaru Boys’ team comprised in playing order George McAleer (Year 13) at number 1, Josh Cameron (Year 12) at number 2, Aidan Watt (Year 11) at number 3, and Ben Goldingham (Year 10) at number 4.
TBHS also played in a number of competitive ties over the weekend, especially the 3-3l draw with the strong St Andrew’s College side. This was highlighted by singles wins to McAleer and Cameron who also combined to win their doubles match.
