2020 has certainly been a different year for the International Department.
Our students were amazing during lockdown and we could not be any more proud of them - they are very special and have remained settled in what has been an unsettled climate.
To relieve the boredom, we have ensured some interesting activites have been added to our calendar:
- Over the past seven weeks, we have had seven International Students and one domestic student join the newly formed Ski Academy. These students have been to Mt Hutt and took the opportunity of participating in a night ski down in Queenstown. Most days have been sunny with the odd bitter day thrown in
- A group of International Students attended the Super Rugby Aotearoa game in Christchurch. It was miserably wet but a good game.
- Over the holidays we had Eric Youn playing football in Dunedin. This was a great opportunity for him to become part of the South Canterbury Football group.
- A group 33 Internationals visited Queenstown for three days. This wonderful group of students experienced beautiful weather, good food and loads of fun
