Ben Deeley, Timaru Boys’ High School 1st X1 has been invited by Andy Boyens, Youth Football Development Manager, New Zealand Football to attend a National U17 Federation Camp in Auckland in April 2016.
Twenty four players nationally have been selected to attend the camp from National Federation Talent Centres and through Talent Identification at the National Age Group Tournament in Wellington in December 2015, where central midfielder Deeley was named in the MVP Tournament Team for the 15th Grade Boys.
Deeley also represented South Canterbury Football at the South Island 15th Grade Tournament in October 2015, scoring 10 goals and named MVP for the South Canterbury Team. Overall at the Tournament the South Canterbury 15th’s finished 3rd.
Deeley will be representing TBHS 1st X1 for the coming 2016 Football season.
