"It's BINGO!, but not like your Nana knows it!” and this time it is musical bingo, a fundraiser for Timaru Boys’ High School Rowing.
TBHS Rowing are holding the Bingo night at the Caroline Bay Hall on Saturday 31 August 2019, with the fun starting at 7.30pm.
The squad are fundraising for new blades and maintenance of their current boats.
Prices per table are $400 or $40 per person. That price includes a delicious supper, bingo cards, bingo prizes and some fabulous auction items. There are corporate tables available for $500, which include some complimentary refreshment. In addition, there is a DJ for after bingo music/dancing and a licenced bar with EFTPOS facilities. Last season, TBHS had 23 rowers. The season is due to start in August with recruitment of new rowers, and will end with the National Secondary Schools Regatta, the Aon Maadi Cup, held at Lake Ruataniwha in Twizel in March 2020.
