Term Three has started well for many of us in Thomas House with most of us now back to true normality, something that was interrupted by Covid-19 at the end of Term 1.
This term has offered a fresh start to the year with winter sports now in full swing and the planning underway for the School Ball, (involving most of our Year 13s) as well as the return of Junior Socials which has allowed the Year 9s and 10s to meet and socialise with people in their year level from other schools around Timaru. Mr Gibb hosted a games night for the juniors from both the Girls’ High Hostel and Thomas House.
With so much happening in only the first few
weeks of this term, it is easy to see how hectic the rest of this term (and
year) will be; in conjunction with the crazy start, it is nice to be back to
normal.
