A new PE uniform is to be introduced to Timaru Boys’ High School in 2016 along with a new school jacket.
Congratulations to the following boys who won awards in their respective sections at the recent Aoraki Secondary Schools Sports awards.
Saturday 19 September saw eight of our students head out to Raincliff to compete in both Cross Country and Downhill sections of the Aoraki Mountain Biking Championships. Hayden Jefferson came 2nd in the U15 cross country race and Sam Ritchie 4th on a demanding and fast paced course with lots of mud and slippery climbs.

The Lions Hockey team in 2015 comprised a mixture of hostel boys ranging from Year 9 to Year 12.
Jack Sands represented Timaru Boys' at this event which was held in Hamilton.
Congratulations to our Golf Croquet team who played exceptionally well at the Aoraki Secondary Schools Golf Croquet Championship on 18 October.
Congratulations to Caleb Cameron who, as one of three placegetters from the Aoraki Secondary Schools Chess Champs, travelled to Auckland for the Chess Power National Invitational Chess Championship.

The Aoraki Ski Competition held on 23 August saw thirteen of our Timaru Boys’ students compete in three ski teams.

For the last four years TBHS has competed in this tournament which showcases South Island secondary school basketball, from which six teams qualify for the National Championship.
Congratulations to Tom Wright, William Bishop and Cade Hollever who have tasted success at two recent trapshooting events, each consisting of three disciplines – points, single rise and single barrel.
The final whistle has blown on what was a very successful season for Timaru Boys’ High Football both on and off the field.

Timaru Boys’ High School had a strong showing at the South Island Secondary Schools Motocross held at the Backflips track, Pleasant Point.

For only the 2nd time in TBHS History the Hockey 1st XI are the India Shield champions. Twenty years ago in 1995 was the last time it was won.
